AEC Engineering to feature on Wrexham FC shirt
AEC Engineering are please to announce that we will become official sponsors of the 2014/15 Wrexham FC shirt.
The deal will see the precision engineering firm feature as part of the 150th Anniversary commemorative kit to be released to fans this summer.
As current clients of the football club, the company was originally set up in Conwy some 15 years ago, but transferred to Wrexham four years ago. They then began growing the operation, manufacturing and exporting Safety Rescue Systems to the USA, Europe and Australia.
Speaking on behalf of AEC Engineering, Phil Salmon, Managing Director said: “I’m proud to be associated with the football club in such an historically important year.
“As a business, we’ve enjoyed a fantastic year in terms of growth and see this as a great partnership, with a club that I have supported since my first visit to The Racecourse in 1966.”
Wrexham FC Commercial Manager, Steve Cook said: “Phil has become a valued client at the club over the past year and it’s fantastic to get him on board with the new kit, one of which I’m such will be a record seller given initial responses to the design.
“Their business is expanding rapidly and I’m looking forward to working with Phil more closely.”
The new 2014/15 shirts are due to go on sale later this summer, when the club will once again take a temporary store for the ‘Shirt Launch’ at Eagles Meadow in July. Fans can expect an extensive leisure wear range this term from new kit suppliers Nike, featuring the 150th Anniversary Crest design, with a host of accompanying merchandise.
